This work is one of my interpretations of the light box concept and came into being from a feeling of desperation, “hitting the wall”, unable to see a solution. I combined antique and more modern ceiling lights of unusual and more common shapes and mounted them onto an old wooden tea trolley, wiring them up electrically into one light station. The trolley and wiring spray painted seemingly random with gold, and a selection of different light bulbs of various wattage, creating a modern and sophisticated piece of art.
