I am absolutely thrilled to announce the publication of my new book The Death and Birth of My Mother and I.

I have been extremely privileged and am very grateful to have been able to be by my mother’s side in the process of her transition between the diagnosis of metastatic melanoma and the moment of her passing – a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget.

Writing about the experience of six intense months filled with emotion has allowed me to process the whole event from astonishing disbelief to the inevitable outcome: the miracle of death – or arguably, the metaphorical birth of my mother as well as myself.

I hope you will enjoy my story. A very personal perspective based on diary notes by my mother as well as my own.
