Rose

Ok so I am trying to get into a habit of writing some blog posts and hopefully each time will remember to when I upload a new image!

My latest photograph here I took while falling in love with the sweetest scented rose in my garden just before Christmas. Actually I took a number of shots from several angles but I loved this one so much as I noticed some of the petals resembling the shape of a heart πŸ™‚

It’s one of those images which can look amazing whether it’s a print or a cushion, and large enough to make a beautiful duvet cover set!

Enjoy,

Ingrid πŸ™‚

We connect

Hello all!

Wow after a year of membership with FAA (Fine Art America) and a very busy life I am finally getting the time to exploring this site a bit further and am starting to get the hang of some of the features it offers. Over the last few days I spent much time on creating email lists for future emails and have sent my very first email out (very exciting!) basically to put my feelers out to see what the reactions would be (if any!)

Pleased to see that the response so far has been positive and that further emails will be welcome πŸ™‚ ~ if you’d like to receive my updates please subscribe to my website here

I am currently in the process of catching up with uploading some of my creations / photography and there is so much yet to come.

I am a creative working with multi media and spent the last six months learning how to etch and have worked with zinc plates as well as photopolymer. Etching has been around for a long time and Rembrandt was a Dutch artist whose images no doubt will be familiar to you. It’s amazing that in hundreds of years the techniques are virtually still the same.

You will be seeing some of mine in time to come ~ not too far away hopefully! Etching has been most challenging but as rewarding as well, asking a lot of my patience as the process can be very time consuming!

As well as a creative I am also a practicing auric magnetic energy healer and work with people from home in New Zealand and do absent healings for people all over the globe (www.auricmagneticenergyhealing.co.nz). I also work as a field interviewer for several research companies in New Zealand, and am in the process of gaining my real estate salesperson licence. Working my own hours allows me to retain my sense of freedom!

You can check me out on Facebook too, on my pages Auric Magnetic Energy Healing,Β Ingrid van Amsterdam Art, Photography and Film, and

Looking forward to getting to know you and wish you all the best for the new year,
